At that time, trash will be weighed and prizes will be awarded to the “Most Weight Collected,” the “Most Unique Find,” among others. Supplies will be provided by Grainger, the city’s supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products.Īt 11 a.m., volunteers will meet back at Buschman Park, where refreshments will be served. Waste Pro will have two dumpsters available for trash and recyclables. The city is inviting volunteers to participate by gathering at the host location, Bushman Park, 4575 Spruce Creek Road, at 8:30 a.m. for check in, with the event starting at 9 a.m. The event is part of the city’s ongoing anti-litter initiative, #KeepOurCityPretty. ![]() The City of Port Orange, in collaboration with Volusia County Volunteers, a non-profit organization that helps improve the overall quality of life of Volusia County residents through events and fundraisers, will be hosting a community roadside clean-up event on Saturday, June 9 in the Commonwealth area. The competition is for five awards: casual cuisine, top food sales, ticket taker, delectable dessert and peoples choice award.
